About – Seeds for Schools
Students across Western Australia are growing their own potatoes thanks to the Fresh Potatoes Seed for Schools program. Now in its forth year, with 500+ schools and early childhood learning centres participating, an estimated 15,000 students across WA are busy planting, nurturing and learning about potatoes.
Grower funded, the program provides schools with seed potatoes, educational resources for teachers to use in classrooms, and a monthly e-newsletter with gardening tips and stories of progress from participating schools.
